Members shared a wide variety of quick and make-ahead breakfast ideas for managing blood sugar, with popular options including eggs (scrambled, hard-boiled, or cooked with veggies), tofu scrambles that can be reheated throughout the week, and protein-rich choices like Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and peanut butter on whole grain toast. Several members emphasized the importance of pairing protein with any carbs to prevent blood sugar spikes, with practical tips like using unripe bananas for lower sugar content, cooking plain oatmeal from a canister instead of instant packets, and adding cinnamon or nuts for flavor without added sugar. A recurring theme was finding what works for your individual body and preferences, with members acknowledging that while oatmeal and whole grains work well for some, others find lower-carb options like bacon and eggs keep their numbers more stable.

Sorry, forgot about already cooked hard-boiled eggs and cut up chunks of real cheese like cheddar or colby (6.7 grams protein per slice of colby).

i eat oatmeal at least a couple times per week in the morning for breakfast.. it is a slow release carb.. so it doesn't raise your blood sugar very rapidly.. my doctor thinks that is an excellent choice for a diabetic.
