Yes I am also getting constipated even I'm drinking alot of water. I'm taking Pregabilin 150 mg. for my diabetic nerve pain for my feet. What I'm doing is I'm drinking a kind of tea that I'm buying in an Asian grocery store. I'm taking this tea every other day and presto I'm okay.

yes Jo3dirt I get IBS and very constipated. I take flaxseeds and anything else that is supposed to help. I took myself very slowly off of gabapentin. and feel much better but still some constipation but not the terrible pain and bloating. Am on Glumetza and Victoza now. My feet are very hot and jumpy at times without the gabapentin. Any suggestions other than putting them in cold water which I do in the middle of the night just to get some cooling comfort.

Uncle :Lees... a product of China. That or green gunpowder.. tea It comes as loose tea or as teabags...If you do it in a pot, a pinch goes a very long way... and I put it in a strainer so cleanup is easy.

I find that some veggies such a beetroots, spinach, bean sprouts, all tend to loosen me up, And of course Cherries, peaches, plums, mangoes, apricots have always had a laxative effect. I learned that one Christmas when I ate rather a lot of fruit cake...(not recommended for diabetics)
