I drink warm lemon water in the morning and eat a bedtime snack that includes a small piece of cheese a few crackers or a rice cake and 3 salt and vinegar chips. It's been 3 weeks and my fasting blood sugar is nearly normal. Also, through the day my reading have been lower. Even when I have "sweets".

I should have been more specific cinnamon does help lower blood sugar two teaspoons is recommended of cassia cinnamon also know as Chinese cinnamon or probably what you're getting at the store, if it just says cinnamon-contains a compound called coumarin, which may be toxic to the liver in high-enough doses. Researchers suggest that even a teaspoon a day of cassia cinnamon might be too much for anyone. So switch to Ceylon nope test show nothing in the way of blunting sugar spikes so it's coumarin, found in cassia cinnamon. But Ceylon has lots of benifits like an antioxident close to amla and even turmeric intake should not exceed one teaspoon a day link to kidney stones. Flaxseed meal, berries chia seeds, beans and greens and a discipline exercise program can reverse diabetes. Read "Diabetes is a Choice"

I don't think Cinnamon is overrated. It helps me and I know one person that was a light diabetic that stopped his RX pills all together after his BS came down from Cinnamon. It needs to be Ceylon Cinnamon. I have also experimented with Apple Cider Vinegar at night and it seems to help too.
