i was on 4 x 500mg metformin a day for 8 years last week i was told to reduce to 2 tabs a day because nurse was happy with my blood sugars i wonder if i will ever need to increase my dose again

Actoplus Met I That I think will depend on how well you manage your blood sugars. I was on one twice a day but they increased it to 2 twice a day that was because I was out of control. I'm hoping with the effort I'm putting in they will eventually reduce it. You must be doing something right & keep up the good work

Keep track of your blood sugars daily and show it to your medical provider. They will make a decision as to reducing it or keeping it at the level you are at. That's good you are taking less! That's a good sign! Keep up the good work.
