Go to www.Authority Nutrition. com
I spent the afternoon reading this site and it's absolutely everything I have learned. Get the knowledge you need because Doctors" don't know it.

@A DiabetesTeam Member; All drinks are sweet. They have either sucrose or fructose. Don't even be deceived by 100% juice. Taking in 2 litres of any will be detrimental to your health. Glucose levels could spike up so high that stabilising them could cause complications, as various medics could be used to stabilise them. Water is the healthiest drink ever, enjoy it.

@A DiabetesTeam Member: Stories you get on DiabetesTeam are from people living with the condition. We can relate to their experiences. This I regard as the best service to Diabetics.

Hello, my name is Joan
Let's go through some basics. Diabetic care is changing. Conventional medicine is changing everything from how often you see a doctor to now not providing strips for testing equipment.
We all need to rise up and and start protesting.

There are different reasons on how frequently you see the doctor. #1 is how is the A1C.
If you are 5.0 to 7.0 once every 6 months is good.
If you run higher then they usually have you in every 3 months. Currently I am being checked once a month because I am having trouble.
So if you ask the right questions you can determine what is going on.

Just don't let someone scare you.
You are allowed to ask anything to determine what you need to know.
Write them down and take them with you.
Example : Are insurance companies changing coverage for (patients /doctor) visit and testing equipment?
What kind of chart can I obtain to know when I have an emergency.
Do I need to carry glucose tablets in my purse?

Diabetic care is the biggest free for all there is when it comes to what they will and don't tell you. As long as you take their drugs they are happy. Start this journey the right way. Start digging now. And truthfully go as clean and natural as you can do it.
