Thyroid issues which have been undiagnosed can lead to infertility and in some cases miscarriages too, it is possible that if undiagnosed and treated optimally this could be part of the issue?...worth looking into some more but my advice is do your own research and always ask for copies of any blood results and compare to optimal ranges not 'so called normal'

The only thing that happened was before I was classified as diabetic was gestational diabetes and big babies. My sister's was not diagnosed nor treated and she had two large babies over 9 and 10 pounds each and my niece was 6 weeks premature. You will have to be more careful being pregnant and making sure you stay very healthy. OB/GYN will have to be involved in your diabetic lifestyle maintenance and making sure your pregnancies do not lead to toxemia and also swelling/retention of fluids in the body.

Of course you can. I've got 2 children and I'm a type 2 diabetic before I had my babies. Maybe you should speak to your gaenacologist.
