Blood Glucose Meter Software For VerioIQ
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

I do not like the new OneTouch Reveal software for the LifeScan VerioIQ meter. To be specific, I do not like the fact that my prior readings cannot be imported int OneTouch Reveal and there is no way to export my meter data from OneTouch Reveal.

I am looking for software whereby I control my data.

Each VerioIQ meter reading comes at a cost of $1.70 and I do not one LifeScan in control of the data that I bought and paid for.

I really do not know. I have only ever used an Accucheck meter and my doctor downloads that information. Perhaps talk to your doctor. It may not hurt to restart your trending anyway to give you more accurate results about where you are now, without the past muddling it up somewhat. Just my thoughts.

Glucose Buddy lets you manually enter your numbers and keeps trends, etc for you and it is free on the internet or through phone app. I am sorry you are not happy with your new meter.

Thank you for your response. Do you know of an option whereby the data from my VerioIQ would be uploaded rather than manual entry? For the record, the meter is great. Lifescan made decisions about the functionality of its new software such that prior data cannot be imported from the old software into the new software. That is a poor decision in my opinion.
