Personally I think a combination of eating lots of vegetables and cooking low fat meals and walking exercise daily has helped me to get my Diabetes type2 in remission and I no longer have to take Metformin 500mg

I do diet and exercise to control my diabetes. I lost 45 lbs and cut out sugar, potatoes, rice, pasta, and breads unless it’s keto. My go to is healthy life. I use cauliflower rice, palmini or zoodles and on rare occasions carba nada pasta. I’m pretty strict on what I eat. If I eat a potato I’ll use a small sweet potato no more than 15 carbs worth. I exercise more also. My Dr was very open to me trying diet and exercise first and my A1C is 5.6/5.7 hoping it will be lower this next time.
We use keto eat mostly meat and veggies keto recipes for deserts, started with 14.4 a1c now 5.5 for the last 5 years
thanks, you have. I am for the most part doing the same. lots of veggies and fruits with protein. I still have some starches and love that pasta. However, all in portion control. The Plate. I have lost weight and that has helped everything. Thanks again.
I have been taken off the Metfofman along with the blood pressure medications. Due to my physical disabilities, exercise is very limited. I am controlling my diabetes with diet for the most part.
