Can also be age-related due to menopause and hormonal changes. If you are concerned get an appointment with your doctor and discuss it with him/her. That way if there is something that can be done they will be in a position to help you.

Also like Liz says, can be the surrounding, air flow, blankets, etc.etc. Oh, it can also be some underlying infection, mild fever, etc. best to get it checked, unless you can clearly pinpoint the cause.

If you can get up and test your blood sugar to see if that is what is causing the night sweats and if so get into the doc asap so you can avoid a bigger issue

I experience severe night sweats when my readings plummet into a hypoglycaemia.
