Is there foods that would help me to lose weight?

My doctor tells me a good idea when making up your plate it to put half of it vegetables, 1 quarter your starch (small potato, 2/3 cup of rice), I quarter your protein (your meat, about the size of a deck of cards). I lost a lot of weight before I was diagnosed because of what the diabetes was doing to my body. However, since I have adapted this rule, I have lost an additional ten more pounds this month. Remember that healthy weight loss will take a long time, so do not get discouraged. I really recommend only weighing yourself once or twice a month and besides, really it is the new measurements you will get more than the weight loss that will make you healthier. Like Sugarsup says, salad and water are both great things as well. I always have a salad with my meals to ensure that I am filled. Also, I think blueberries are a great help too! Up to a quarter cup of them are also considered a free snack that you can have a few times a day, if you are feeling extra hungry. Good luck, I am rooting for you!

Eat all the veggies you want cut back on carbs switch to whole wheat and whole grain bread and eat high fiber cereals. Eat healthy snacks between meals to keep your blood sugars level with no drastic drop between meals

You can get it in capsules but I prefer it with water. I just pour enough to cover the bottom of my glass and fill it up with water and ice. That or doing the same with lemon juice are my two favourite drinks......besides vodka and coffee that is. Lol
