Hi all, I have a question related to metformin. I was diagnosed in July of 2015 with Type II and have been on metformin ever since. My dose has dropped considerably and I now take 500 mg/day. are you also on a statin like Lipator ?? that could have some effect -- also ask your Dr about B12 -- mine was very low on Metformin -- so I now take a supplement each morning.
I have an appointment next week with my Doctor and will ask. Good news today though. My A1C is 5.6 and all my numbers look really good. I was a little high on triglycerides (200) but not overall terrible! Yay!

Good luck on your weight loss. I haven't had any success at all in that arena. I've been taking Victoza and even that has not helped. I just need to lose 25 more lbs and nothing works. I'm very discouraged about this, and upset. My Dr keeps telling me it will come but I don't really believe it anymore.
