Lyrica
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

It would appear that I have now become accustomed/immune to Lyrica. Any alternative?

Sherry....have you asked about the generic of Lyrica...gabapentin? It is a different combination.
Machetesgirl......have you been eating salt or getting enough water?

I take 3 150mg of Lyrica each and every day and have found it to work very well. I take it in addition to 3 15mg Oxycodone for pain control. Some days it works very well, other days, not so much. Wish I could pinpoint what makes a tolerable day from a pain ridden day, but have not found a pattern to it. Some days the diabetic neuropathy is so severe I wish for my passing to be near. Or then.

Oh wow I'm sorry to hear that.
Is it helping ? Maybe a lower dosage will help the side effects

How long have you been taking Lyrica, Sherry? Maybe it is going to take more time until the side effects go away?
