Do We Need To Manage Our Expectations When Living With Diabetes?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question đź’

The other day I was watching some show, characters were all excited when one said “Slow Down – you need to manage your expectations”.

I got thinking - does this apply to Diabetics?

The day we get our Diagnosis our Life changes Forever.

I see many who seem to think their next 10, 20 or 30 years have gone down the drain now that they are “Diabetic”.

Has Anyone Had Weight Loss Surgery To "cure" Diabetes?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question đź’

I have been told that after having this surgery I would no longer have to treat my diabetes. However I am wondering if I would be trading one set of problems for another. Since I have a weight problem being approved is not a problem, but I prefer to do things as naturally as possible. Some insight would be helpful and appreciated.

Some Yoda quotes and what they mean to me both in life and in my diabetes journey.

"You must unlearn what you have learned."

We are creatures of habit. But sometimes, we have to shake up our process and even unlearn our process to succeed. I am not afraid to change, so I continually experiment and I might occasionally change things up 1-2 x a day.
