My Husband Was Prescribed Synjardy Xr In Combination With Ozempac To Control His Blood Sugar. Does He Need To Take Both Of These?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

He was given 4 different medications including the Ozempic and synjardy xr (also, rosuvastatin and valartan) would it be better, in the interest of not taking four new medication starting all at once to choose one of the diabetic treatments and see how it goes before incorporating the other? Curious what anyone else’s experience has been.

Jardiance And Other New Diabetic Drugs
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

It seems that people I know who take Jardiance and Victoza and Trulicity seem to be able to eat more carbs than people just taking metformin or drugs like glipizide. Do these drugs allow you to eat more carbs and still keep your blood glucose in check?
