Can Men Get Yeast Infections And What Are The Symptoms? I Have Developed Skin Tags (wobblers)around My Pubic Area And Have Had A White Disch
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question đź’

Can men get yeast infections and what are the symptoms? I have developed skin tags (wobblers)around my pubic area and have had a white discharge from the head of my penis which seems to have abated now but the rough skin and wobblers in my affected area are often very itchy. I have been told that it could be herpes that has led dormant for years. Can anyone shed any further light/advice?.....Thanks

I Appear To Be Having A Gum / Tooth Infection, Has Anyone Experienced Low Blood Sugar Levels With An Infection ? No Fever Yet
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question đź’

So today twice before supper and now 2 hrs post bedtime snack, blood sugar finger prick I am at 5.2, what I ate 2 hrs ago should have brought my sugar up by now, as Endo prefers I go to bed with sugar levels around or above 6.0 (108). Yet after supper I was at 8.2 (148) for about only 15 min, this was done on purpose as Endo told me to have more Carbs before a walk so I do not drop, well I went down to 5.2 (94) finger prick after the 30 min walk. Now this evening my problematic tooth and gum… read more

Do You Feel "alone" As A Diabetic?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question đź’

Common feeling amongst many - "I feel all alone because nobody around me understands"

Well, I'm just kicking back watching the Tampa Bay/Dallas Wildcard Game

For a bit of perspective - statistically there is 7,874 DIABETICS in the stands watching the game live

We are nowhere near alone....

Do You Worry About The Wrong Thing?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question đź’

Over the past couple of weeks I have read a number of posts where people are hesitant to take a diabetes medication that was prescribed because they read of the potential side effects and are somewhere between uncomfortable or outright afraid

Your concerns are valid and you should discuss them with your doctor but you should also know that the Doc didn't "just decide because" when they wrote the script and it was in response to your blood work that showed you "need" the meds to manage your… read more

Why Did My Doctor Prescribe Me A DANGEROUS Drug?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question đź’

(2 parts and comes with one of those "viewer discretion" warnings)

I will answer that but just want to forewarn that some may find this post a little “harsh”

I work with two different Diabetes mentoring programs – a “regular one” and a “Bootcamp”

For any that have Served and had the pleasure of Basic Training they would recognize our Bootcamp technique – it’s fashioned the same way – you are told what to think and what to do to try and teach you what you need to know

To do what is expected… read more

What Do You Think Of Those Consultants And Other Professionals Who State Your Chronic Condition (such As Diabetes) Is “progressive”?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question đź’

I might accept it if they said that my condition *might* be progressive. Can you imagine how some/many diabetics feel when told their condition was progressive? Many may have thought what’s the point and not bother to manage their condition because quite simply the professionals held out no hope.

I remember when I was diagnosed with Cervical Myelopathy the neurologist told me that in two years I’d be in a wheelchair. That was back in 2002 and I walk at least three times a walk and go on long… read more

Have I Got A Yeast Infection Or Something Else?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question đź’

bHi All,Just been reading about yeast infections and I thought that's maybe what I've got. It's not pleasant to write about but my symptoms are the white discharge from my penis but also like wobbly skin tags and very itchy bumpy patches all around my groin. Had this for ages as was too embarrassed to tell anyone.
Can anyone identify the problem?
Cheers
John🥺
