Basaglar Question

It’s been a pretty good day so far. But I have noticed a trend since being on this once a day Basaglar for the basal portion of my therapy.

Morning, lunch time and midafternoon numbers are fine, but every single day this week the super time bed time numbers are high. Not out of range high, but instead of the 4s and 5s during the day they often hit 8s by bedtime. Is the basal wearing off before then? I think it must be.

Could be that your carb calories are finally being registered by your body. Try more carbs in the morning and lunch and less at supper time and later. 8 is not a bad number at night. It will come down overnight, at least it does for me.
