Yes, it is one of the typical symptoms of diabetes along with thirst and frequent urination.

I lost over 46 lbs (a little scary how fast it came off) without even trying, so yes, I think it works that way in some people. I know that others gain weight for some reason. I will mention that one thing I did immediately was to stop drinking pop, and I think that probably helped.

My doctor said hot hands and feet, numbness and tingling. I have that in my feet and hands and they are keeping an eye on it.

If your sugar has been uncontrolled then weightloss can happen and also if your type 1 and not getting insulin you will lose weight very fast
