I fast often for 16-18 hours a day while following a keto diet as recommended by my doctor. It's perfect for diabetics. It treats the actual cause of diabetes rather than the symptom. The symptom is high blood sugar. We need to get to the root cause. I no longer need the 80 units of Lantus or the other 3 diabetes meds.

No Fasting for any length of time is not good for any diabetic. It will throw your bs out of control. You need food to help balance your bs a good balanced diet is the key to regulate sugar. Talk to your health professional. Good luck.
