How Can I Put Myself Under The Hospital Care?
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi,

How can I put myself under the hospitals diabetic centers care rather than my GP?
My GP does not IMHO provide any sort of care or coverage. In that I have tried to make a review appointment (Been 18 months now) and told that "They will send one when due" (This is the new PHD's that run receptions).

I’d go ask them - am sure they can give you better information than we could

Try talking to the diabetic center to see what you need to do. Explain the situation. It may give you the answer you are looking for. Since I am in the US I not familiar with the health care in the UK.

HI, PCP?

NB if this means the doctors, then I have zero chance. You really don't know how hard it is to even get a telephone call let alone a referral!
