Thanks so much for everybody's advice. I have a pinched nerve on my right side going thru my arm .Just wanted to tell everybody..

My hands have been affected most by the neuropathy. I like to play on my kindle or crochet in the mornings and I never know when or if my hands will go numb...usually my thumb and first 2 fingers on each hand. It's also very hard for me to hold a pen for any length of time. 10-15 mins if I'm lucky. I've also been told I have some carpal tunnel damage so when it hurts, I have a rigid brace to wear, usually at night. If I need sonthing during the day, I have a comression glove with a band that wraps around my wrist for extra suport. Oh, and I have a lot of arthritis in my hands too.

I really doubt it's the Splenda........but I'm not a Dr.

If Splenda does seem to be the problem, try Stevia. It is a herb-based sweetener that actually may be good for diabetes control. You can probably get it in the sugar section of a supermarket.

If you are taking splenda, stop taking for a while and see if it helps. Good luck
