Can Anybody Tell Me Whether Morning Dizziness Is Really Caused As A Result Of High Blood Suger (fasting) ??
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

Recently I have been experiencing heavy dizziness in early morning when I wake up.
Fasting blood sugar measred was 12.0- 12.1.
I noticed that dizziness gets out with time say couple of hours of normal activity and intake of blood sigar medications . Any idea, comments or share of similar situations?

Thank you Suecsdy , you probably gave me a clue where to look at. Yes, I wake up almost every night /early morning for urinating purpose and probably I rush to the bathroom without making any gap in motions from getting up from bed, sitting ,walking to the washroom . I experience Vertigo/dizziness probably due to possible orthostatic blood pressure issue like you in addition to high blood sugar level at midnight/dawn ! Can anybody share the comments who faces or thinks like me ??

I occasionally have balance issues when getting up immediately after waking (as for an urgent late night potty run) I stagger around like a drunk, bouncing off the walls and furniture. (I don't drink). I was told it might be orthostatic blood pressure, which basically means I have a problem if I get up too quickly. LOL. And yes, I went through all the tests to rule out other causes.
