I take 2 Gabapentin 400 mg tablets 3 times a day but seems it is not working , the burning at one time was every other week but now it comes and goes anytime sometimes twice a week and i can't find out why I thought it was from what I ate but I can eat sweets and no problem it just comes and goes when it wants to what can i do to relieve the pain

I fully agree with Suecsdy. Diet has no effect. I have control of my diabetes but I still have numbness and occasional pain in my feet. Try Lyrica, but only until the pain subsides a bit. Then get off it before it messes with your brain and try curcumin with black pepper.

Diabetic neuropathy; I don't think it has anything to do with what you eat. It's nerve damage. Mine did improve when I got control of the diabetes, but there are still times when my feet burn. Maybe it;s time to try a new med or other treatment for it.

Change your diet; cut out the sweets, starches, including bread, pasta, and potatoes. Supplement magnesium chelate with 700 mgs a day, divided dosage.
