I can’t take it either.. I’m also in kidney failure, so I can’t take most of the other pills either. I’ve never heard of berberine, so I can’t say anything for or against it!!!

I can't use metformin either. My Dr suggested the Bydureon pen. Depending on your insurance, it can be a bit pricey. But I am doing very well on it. I only have to check my sugars once a day now. Averaging around 115 after a meal! It's worth a try. Talk to your Dr. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
