When you have bananas and they go a little Brown mash them up, and put them in baby food pots and freeze them, when you fancy an ice cream take one out and its like eating banana ice cream.

I try to keep healthy options on hand in case I find myself with the munchies! Nuts, raw veggies and vegetable broth!

Will Power and you are the only one that can do it! Diabetes reminds me of when I was bought up and I was a helping hand on the farm when I was real young so I was bought up very rigid and working on the farm was not a game as you could get hurt or killed just blinking your eyes. Some people don't understand the power of Diabetes until they really feel it and the damage is already done at that point. These people listen to their brain that said it's o.k. just this onetime and the next and so on. All along your body was saying No but the brain won and you loose all because you did not listen to what the body was saying. We all know what we have to do and we all know what we should not do and you are the one that makes the call. Just like if you have a Doctor you don't like or care for then move on til you find one. I went through ten Doctor's in one year and the eleventh Doctor found it and all of them did blood work for it. That tells you something. Best way I find is to stay very rigid and I do not let anyone force anything on me and if they demand me to eat it I will take it from them as they watch me go to a trash can and throw it away if I cannot have it. I have lost some people over this but it's my life. It's all Will Power, Focus, Rigid, Portions, and all the right foods! I myself can get away with very low carbs and I make sure I have my protein and plenty of water too. I do not drink my carbs. as they are not good for you and I make sure I only eat good carbs. that burn off slow or you might end up with a good sugar low. Everyone's body is different so what works for one might not work for the other. You must listen to your body and not your brain as the brain will trick you anytime it can and that is the truth and you know it. About seventy percent of the people that listen to me and have done it agree with me. Yes even I have a cheat meal one time each week on the same day and even know it is a cheat meal I still watch my portions and throw the rest away so you cannot eat it later. This helps to keep you on the wagon so you do not fall off. The brain will cheat you of life and also make you sick if you let it so listen to your body and kick the hell out of the brain. Good Luck to all and if you have the will you can do it. Team up with others and be honest as if you lie you are killing yourself. Best of Luck and you can do it!

NO NO NO NO I do not agree with this attitude of pushing yourself off the damn pavement just because you "crave" something!! People this life you live is all yours and i believe we can have our crave food or drink but not go overboard. We are our own judge and jury so please have that good moment, savour it and smile....xxx
