I have been on Crestor, with no issues... my BG has been reducing... I am also getting Rampril and my BP is now low... need to get the MD to reduce the dose.

I have been taking crestor for a few years and no problem.

At least you know it is now under your control and not some underlying side effect that you wouldn't know what was going to happen next

Ok. The clinical pharmacist called me back. She said that in a super tiny % of people Crestor does show a correlation to higher blood sugars. Anyone with training in statistics knows correlation is not causation. Guess I'll need to look more closely at my carb intake.
