I've had neuropathy that started in my feet maybe 4+ years ago. It has continued to worsen. Now I have it in my feet, up to my knees, hands, etc
I haven't driven in a few years, firstly because of eyesight issues from cataracts and diabetic retinopathy. But, after eye surgery and eye treatments, I feel my eyesight is pretty good now, but, the neuropathy has worsened. I hate NOT being independent! I think it is hard to cange your neuropathy. May be it is possible to. Change the pedals in your car. I know there are solutions by giving gass by hand or knees.

I also find that Lyrica helps. But as a result I now have Parkinsons, My doctor told me that Lyrica can bring on Parkinsons.

@A DiabetesTeam Member ive loosed my leg by that ive loosed my drivinglicense. To become an ew license i have to take new drivelessons and learn t use my other leg. And when it succeed, buy an new car special prepaired for me to drive with my left leg. All that is very expensive.
