Do I Have To Keep Fast Acting Insulin Cold When Carrying It With Me
A DiabetesTeam Member asked a question 💭

I need to carry my fast acting insulin Humalog with me to take before I eat but worry about if I need to keep it cold I live in Louisiana and it's very hot here. I can't leave it in the car without it over heating but when I carry it on my person it also gets very hot. What do I do? How do others deal with this?

Look for a Frio insulin holder. They are supposed to keep it cool even in hot weather.

I bought a carrying case (Insulin Protector by Medicool) and bring it with me at all the time indoors and not leave it on the car. Room temperature at all time
