plateau, same here Natalie.
And thanks Caren I didn't know that about bananas. I was ready to take them off the list. And just to add what you said, Eat proteins WITH your fruit, it slows down the digestion, so that the gloucose goes into your bloodstream and a slower pace. No spikes in the numbers. Which is the goal? I believe.......

Eat all the veggies you want cut back on carbs switch to whole wheat and whole grain bread and eat high fiber cereals. Eat healthy snacks between meals to keep your blood sugars level with no drastic drop between meals so our metabolism burns the calories. Watch sales for veggies and fruit but watch, because some fruit is very high in sugar. That is why they can be bad for us.

Bananas are essential if you are on insulin to replenish the potassium that the insulin takes away. 1/2 banana is one serving of fruit, so eat just 1/2 at a time in your 3 servings of fruit per day. An apple in between is good, because it also adds fibre. But you should always be eating a protein with your fruit, because they are a carb, so the protein counteracts the sugars. You shouldn't put on weight if you do that.
